On July 31st, 2025 my 85 year old father called me to tell me that a roofer (Adam Hampton with "Twin Anchors Roofing") just stopped at his house to let him know that the ridge vent on the his roof was no longer secured to the roof and was flopping around (rain was immanent). This could allow rain to enter the opening and cause serious water damage. Since the roof had recently been replaced I instructed my father to call the company that installed the roof since I live two hours away and couldn't help my elderly parents. While waiting for the original company to call my father back, the sky was getting dark and it was obvious the roof ridge needed to be repaired immediately.  As I was on the phone with my Dad, Adam returned to my Dad's house and said he could get the roof closed up immediately. So, we decided to let Adam do the repair and we'd deal with the other company later for a refund. So, Adam and a helper got on the roof, made the needed repair and got back down just before the ski opened up. When my Dad asked how much he owed, Adam told him there was no charge and that he just wanted to help out. Well, we then learned that the other roofing company had recently gone out of business. Adam truly went above and beyond to help a senior in need and we are very grateful! Needless to say, TWIN ANCHORS ROOFING is now the only company we will call in the future!!
